Do you like to travel and see new cities? Or places that God created? I grew up in inner-city apartments but after becoming a Christian our Father let me see new places and really, more importantly, new people. Different people, but the same as you and I. People who are hungry for something valuable and eternal. Hungry for God in Jamaica, Peru, China, Ecuador, Israel and most recently India and Haiti.
Here's the Big Picture and the Good News: The Good News of Jesus is changing lives and families around the world and here in our Tri-state area. You and I, along with the rest of the STAR Family are part of His Team!
About George
George Flores has been talking about Jesus on the radio in this NYC area for over 30 years; but he hopes to do some really amazing things in the near future. He hopes to hike Machu Picchu in the mountains of Peru, also to walk his youngest daughter down the aisle at her wedding and to write a book about how the Shepherd of our souls has kept him through many adventures!

A Note From Dawn.
You have made my morning coffee more memorable than I could ever imagine. Thank you for listening to me in the morning for the last 9 years. It's been a blast waking you up, hearing about your family, your job…how much you love a song. What a privilege! My memories are countless and will continue to grow except I'll get to sleep in a little more now.
Starting after Labor Day, I'll be moving to the afternoons to work with the amazing George Flores from 2-6pm! I am looking forward to seeing what God has in store for us during this new season at STAR 99.1!

So if some one steals your GPS are you going to stop believing God watches over your things?
And if your tooth breaks while eating some bread & butter would you start thinking He doesn't care about your well being?
If a loved one perished, did the Lord kill?
Though I sometimes forget to thank God for the good stuff, I often do give Him the credit for the beauty of a sunrise or seeing me through an exam at class or even healing my daughter from a fever. In these good things I know to give Him the credit.
It's just that we needn't blame Him for the evil because we know what Jesus explained to us in John 10:10.
"The Thief comes only to steal, to kill and to destroy, but I have come that you might have life! And have it abundantly."
He is the God of all comfort so run to Him after the Thief's attack.
Know this: God's response to the Thief is surely on it's way.

So I don't like writing because I think people are super critical and will be judging me and making fun of me. And then I realize why some people don't like public speaking! Same reasons. Self conscious and fearful, some would rather dive into shark waters or wait a day on a motor vehicle line. Yet I get to talk with you on a radio.....but that's ok because it's just you and me. And when we talk with God just forget I'm here. Just you talk with Him. And don't be afraid.
