How can I give a gift?

While STAR 99.1 holds an annual fundraiser to meet the general operating expenses, additional gifts are welcome and needed throughout the year to sustain the ministry, on a monthly or one-time basis. Every gift is important!

What are some suggested giving levels?

Dollar-A-Day Club: $30.42 per month.

STAR Partner Club: $50.00 per month.

Ninety- Nine-Dollar Club: $99.00 per month.

Impact Partner: $199.00 per month, increasing STAR 99.1's ability to impact this region.

Vision Partner: Annual gift of $5,000, helping in the vision of reaching others with the Hope of Christ.

Legacy Partner: Annual gift of $10,000 or more, leaving a legacy of faith in the NY metropolitan area.

Why does STAR 99.1 FM need listener donations if there is advertising on the station?

As a 501(c) (3) organization, the majority of our operating funds come from donations.

Will I receive a monthly statement?

If you are giving monthly by check, you will receive a monthly statement unless you request otherwise.

How do I sign up for monthly credit card giving, and what day of the month does my credit card get charged?

You can click "donate" above to sign up, or call our business office at 732-469-0991. Your credit card will be charged on the cycle of the month you choose: either the 5th, 15th, or 25th. If the day falls on a weekend or holiday, your gift will be charged on the next business day.

Is it secure if I donate online?

Yes. All the information you give, both online and over the phone, is kept secure. You can verify that your online gifts are secure by making sure that the donation pages have an "https" at the beginning (the "s" means secure). Also, STAR 99.1 FM does not share your information with any third parties.

What is EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer)?

Many people enjoy the convenience of giving monthly through our EFT program. Once enrolled, your monthly contribution is withdrawn automatically from your bank account. Electronic Funds authorization will remain in effect until you notify STAR 99.1 in writing that you wish to discontinue the withdrawals. To sign up, please send us a letter with desired start date (5th, 15th or 25th of the month), amount of monthly pledge, type of account (checking or savings), and a voided check. Mail to STAR 99.1 Business Office, P.O. Box 9058, Zarephath, NJ 08890.

What is a Sustaining Partner?

A Sustaining Partner is one who pledges to support STAR 99.1 on an on-going basis. Your gift will continue until you notify us otherwise. Your commitment as a Sustaining Partner allows us to plan ahead for the future. You can become a Sustaining Partner through monthly checks, credit card donations, or EFT (electronic funds transfer).

Will I receive a statement at the end of the year?

Donors will receive a statement at the end of the year, and a receipt on their first gift amount in a pledge. If you do not wish to receive any receipts or statements, please feel free to contact our business office at 732-469-0991 during business hours.
