STAR 99.1 has been with you throughout Superstorm Sandy. In the days following the storm, we posted lists of open gas stations, places to charge your phones, messages from government officials and places to find shelter & apply for federal disaster assistance. As we continue to rebuild, STAR 99.1 will keep you updated on Sandy relief efforts.
If you are still being affected by Sandy, please check our list of places providing services. Please know that especially in deeply affected communities, local government offices, churches and other community-oriented organizations are providing shelter, volunteers and supplies. Our goal with this list is to highlight local and regional organizations that are providing relief after this storm.
