Sharathon Volunteer
It's time once again for our annual Sharathon, when we bring before our listeners the operational needs of STAR 99.1 for the coming year. Our theme this year is "SHARE HOPE NOW!". You can have a vital role in this partnership as we continue the vision of bringing HOPE and GOD'S LOVE to the NY/NJ/PA Metro area! Will you help STAR 99.1 during this critical, exciting and amazing time?
How can you help?
VOLUNTEER… during the week of Sharathon, Tuesday through Saturday, November 10th-14th. We are now inviting volunteers to join with us at this exciting time!
Here's what you can expect as a Sharathon volunteer:
- An encouraging time of meeting and serving alongside other loyal STAR 99.1 volunteers.
- Meals before and/or after shift.
- Entry into a drawing for a special package of STAR Stuff, including two tickets to our February 2010 Casting Crowns concert!
- The opportunity to speak with many excited listeners as they call in to share their stories and partner with us.

We'll provide complete training for your particular area of volunteering, such as:
- Taking calls and pledges from listeners and entering them into a simple database
- Greeters - signing in volunteers, assigning stations, monitoring schedules, passing out materials and name tags, review of time-sensitive information
- General Help - Stuffing envelopes, sorting/alphabetizing pledges, etc.
- Kitchen assistance - helping to serve our other volunteers and staff

The participation of our volunteers is vital to SHARING HOPE NOW through the music and message of STAR 99.1 in this area. Will you join us?
PRAY…We invite you to download your "40 Days of Prayer Calendar", and pray with us each day from Wednesday, September 30th through the week of Sharathon for the various requests listed.
