Yum! Here is my latest favoriteCrock Pot recipe.
Be sure to send me you fav’s at beth@star991fm.com so I can cook’em and share’em. There’s nothing like tossing a few things together in the morning and having dinner ready when you are.

Balsamic-glazed short ribs

Ingredients:
Olive oil
4-5 lbs bone-in beef short ribs
garlic, salt & pepper
1/2 cup beef broth
1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
dry rosemary ( if you have it don’t buy the whole bottle just for this)

Pat meat dry and brown all sides in skillet using olive oil and seasoning with salt and pepper.

Place ribs in crock pot.

In same pan remove all but one tablespoon of fat. And garlic, broth and vinegar. Bring to a boil then pour over ribs. Top with rosemary.

Cover slow-cooker and cook on low for 8 hours until fork tender.

Enjoy!

Thing 1 (STAR 99.1’s promotions coordinator, Jennifer Garibay-Weiss) and Thing 2 (STAR 99.1’s promotions assistant, Ashley Best) will be traveling through out the listening area to meet listeners and collect children’s books for the Bridge of Book Foundation. Bridge of Books Foundation provides books for children in homeless shelters; NJ Division of Youth and Family Services; children’s visiting rooms at state prisons and other agencies serving children in need.
