David’s sister Karen brought her new son (David’s nephew) Titus to his very first STAR 99.1 event. He was thrilled as you can see!

 

Johnny and I have a running joke about our dog Bogey looking just like the creature Scrat in the Ice Age movies. So much so that we have accused her of filming movies while we are at work. Then the latest Ice Age movie had a one-eyed character so we assumed that Bogey got our one-eyed dog Mally a part so they could be together all day. Now they have created the world’s tallest ice sculpture to celebrate the release of Ice Age 3.

Fun Facts:

• The Scrat Ice Sculpture stood at 45 feet tall
• Over 133,000 lbs. of ice was used, gathered across 4 states
• Artists from Blue Sky Studios developed the look of the model

Bogey is now the world’s tallest ice sculpture!

They were born about a month early so they have a hard road ahead of them. So keep them and their Mommy in prayer.

Another perfect example of how God uses STAR 99.1 to reach people. Separated from her husband, a wife hears his cry for help just as she turns on the radio.

Mary Beth Chapman (Steven Curtis Chapman’s Bride) posted a blog today sharing how she been coping with the death of her daughter Maria. We thought you would want to read it…Mary Beth Chapman’s Blog

When you have an almost 18-year-old dog, you never know what to expect when you wake up. Some days she gets up slower than others and most of the time we have to carry her up and down the stairs. Some times she gives us this look like, can’t I just lay here for the rest of the day? And when you are 92 in dog years like Bogey, your parts start to slowly wear out so her tail doesn’t wag as often as it used to. But this morning she decided to surprise us all the way around – Johnny invited me to dance right before we left that house and as we were swaying, Johnny looked down and Bogey was watching us, wagging her tail back and forth to the music. And on her last trip outside, Johnny brought her in, turned around to lock the door and up the entire flights of stairs she leapt right next to her three-year-old sister.

So all that to say, don’t let other people make assumptions about you or how your day is supposed to go… if Bogey can wag her tail and climb the stairs, anything is possible!

Today Johnny Stone in the Morning invited Michael Jr. on the show. We talked about some unique opportunities that he had to minister in the lives of George Carlin and Michael Richards. Wow!! We were all left speechless by his story.
