STAR 99.1 FM is a not-for-profit, listener-supported 501(c)(3) organization. All donations to STAR 99.1 are tax-deductible. We count on the faithful support of our listeners to SHARE the HOPE of Christ with this metropolitan area. We are grateful for your partnership and prayers!

Why does STAR 99.1 FM need listener
donations if there is advertising on the station?
As
a 501(c) (3) organization, the majority of our operating funds come from
donations. Donate
How can I give a gift?
STAR
99.1 gratefully accepts checks, money orders, credit cards, and EFT
(Electronic Funds Transfer). Gifts can be made on a one-time or
monthly basis. STAR.99.1 also accepts gifts
of real property as well as stocks and securities such as mutual
fund shares, bonds, and bond coupons. Every gift is important! You can click

Business Office at 732-469-0991. Please designate on your check or money
order whether the gift is for the Building campaign, an existing
Sharathon pledge, general operating expenses, or where most needed. If
you are giving monthly by check, you will receive a monthly statement.
What day does my credit card get
charged on monthly payments?
Your credit card will be charged on
the cycle of the month you choose: either the 5th, 15th, or 25th. If the
day falls on a weekend or holiday, your gift will be charged on the next
business day.
What is EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer)?
We
have made it simple and convenient to give monthly through our EFT
(Electronic Funds Transfer) program. Once enrolled, your monthly
contribution is withdrawn automatically from your bank account.
Electronic Funds authorization will remain in effect until you notify
STAR 99.1 in writing that you wish to discontinue the withdrawals.
You can process your EFT directly through our Donation page. If you prefer to sign up by mail, please send us a letter with desired start date (5th, 15th or 25th of the month), amount of monthly pledge, type of account (checking or savings), and a voided check. What is a Giving Partner?
Any
gift, any amount, monthly or one-time. Your faithful support helps to
keep us on the air! We are grateful to God for any gift He places on

What are some suggested giving
levels? Donate
Dollar-A-Day
Club: $365 for the year, either one-time or $30.42 per month.
STAR
Partner Club: $600 for the year, either one-time or $50.00 per month.
Ninety-
Nine-Dollar Club: $1,188 for the year, either one-time or $99.00 per
month.
Impact Partner: Annual gift of $2,388, either one-time
or $199.00 per month, increasing STAR 99.1's ability to impact this
region.
Vision Partner: Annual gift of $5,000, helping in the
vision of reaching others with the Hope of Christ.
Legacy Partner:
Annual gift of $10,000 or more, leaving a legacy of faith in the NY
metropolitan area.
What is a Sharaday?
As a
"thanks" for your Impact, Vision, or Legacy Partnership, you are
eligible to receive a half or full-day's worth of on-air mentions. These
are a one-of-a-kind way to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or honor a

What is a Sustaining Partner?
A
Sustaining Partner is one who pledges to support STAR 99.1 on an
on-going basis. Your gift will continue until you notify us otherwise.
Your commitment as a Sustaining Partner allows us to plan ahead for the
future. You can become a Sustaining Partner through monthly checks,
credit card donations, or EFT (electronic funds transfer). Donate
Is it secure if I donate
online?
Yes. All the information you give, both online and
over the phone, is kept secure. You can verify that your online gifts
are secure by making sure that the donation pages have an "https" at the
beginning (the "s" means secure).
Also, STAR 99.1 FM does
not share your information with any third-parties.
Will I receive a statement at the
end of the year?
Donors will receive a statement at the end of
the year, and a receipt on their first gift amount in a pledge. If you
do not wish to receive any receipts or statements, please feel free to
contact our business office at 732-469-0991 during business hours.
Can I get my gift matched through my
company's Matching Gift Program?
Many companies will match your
gifts to charitable organizations, which can double or even triple your
gift. Contact your Human Resources Department or Matching Gift Program
Administrator to find out specific details.
Does STAR 99.1 accept gifts of stock,
securities, and assets?
STAR 99.1 gratefully accepts stocks and
securities such as mutual fund shares, bonds, and bond coupons. Gifts of

Does STAR 99.1 have a Planned
Giving Program?
An increasing number of listeners are evaluating
planned gifts to the ministries they support. Through planned gifts such
as wills, trusts or life insurance policies, you can arrange future

99.1 is owned by Pillar of Fire, a 501(c) (3) not-for-profit religious
organization. You have our commitment that every gift given to STAR.99.1
will be used with integrity before God, as we are accountable to Him for
our stewardship. We also recognize our accountability to you, our
generous partners in ministry. As a ministry of Pillar of Fire
International, we adhere to the highest standards of financial
integrity. All donations to STAR.99.1 are
tax-deductible as allowed by law.
