after my mother went to be with Him, provided a light in the darkness,
given me the strength to keep putting one foot in front of the other
when divorce and suicide darkened my door, been a tool God used to
encourage me to step out in ministry half a world away and have
overwhelmed me with God's love, mercy, kindness and answer to prayer.

AT STAR 99.1, we receive countless calls and Emails every month, testifying to the impact the station is having in the lives of listeners in this area, and around the globe through our Internet audio streaming. Every day, we are blessed to hear stories of lives touched and HOPE received through the positive encouragement heard on STAR 99.1. But our mandate is to do more!
"My son, who is 7, loves Jesus. When we ride in the car, he almost
always asks me to put STAR 99.1 on, and he is always hoping to hear his
favorite song, "Friend of God." On two separate occasions, when riding
home from scouts, we were talking about that song. Right afterward we
turned on STAR, and the song was playing! He was SO encouraged in his
young walk with Jesus. Thank you!"
