Our Purpose...
The Bowery Mission & Kids With A Promise is called to minister in New York City to men, women, and children caught in the cycles of poverty, hopelessness and dependencies of many kinds, and to see their lives transformed to hope, joy, lasting productivity and eternal life through the power of Jesus Christ.
Our Goal...
To be the most effective provider of compassionate care and life transformation for hurting people in New York City.
Last year, The Bowery Mission & Kids With A Promise...

Provided homeless men and women with more than 346,500 meals, 73,000 nights of shelter and 43,000 articles of clothing, as well as showers, haircuts, 575 professional doctor's appointments and 48 eye examinations.

Mentored 78 teenagers through our Leadership Academy program.

Hosted 920 children from New York's most impoverished neighborhoods
for a week of adventure at Mont Lawn Camp in the Pocono Mountains.

Had a life-changing impact on 150 men and women - resulting in a "transformed life" of spiritual growth, sobriety, restored relationships, employment, housing and a plan for the future.

Leveraged generous donor support with more than 39,000 hours of volunteer service and more than $2.9 million of in-kind gifts.
