STAR 99.1 salutes Cathedral International, our Ministry of the Week!
Cathedral International is the historic Second Baptist Church, founded in 1904. Our Senior Pastor, Bishop Donald Hilliard Jr. recently celebrated his 25th year in ministry at the church. A Christ-centered community, we embrace historic Christian liturgy and Pentecostal fervor. We hold in tension a call to Spirit-filled living and social renewal. Our four-fold mission is to Evangelize, Educate, Emancipate and Empower in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ through Loving, Lifting and Liberating humanity.
With extensions in Asbury Park, NJ and Plainfield, NJ, Cathedral International is One Church in Three Locations experiencing the Wonder, Worship and Witness of Jesus Christ.
Over 50 ministries are at work ministering to the unique needs of the Perth Amboy, Asbury Park and Plainfield communities. We are a Christian church. Baptist by denomination, Pentecostal by experience, Holiness by choice!
