STAR 99.1 salutes The Furnace House of Prayer, our Ministry of the Week!
The Furnace House of Prayer exists to bring the light of Jesus Christ to the metro NY/NJ region through a lifestyle of intercession, worship and fasting, through the example of transformed lives. We are endeavoring to be a 24/7 intercessory worship center for regional revival through three distinct purposes: 1) calling forth, training and mobilizing worshipping intercessors who operate in the forerunner spirit as end time messengers of His soon return, 2) establishing a perpetual solemn assembly in the NY/NJ region by gathering corporately in one location to fast and pray, and 3) helping equip the members of local churches in the region towards the same. We purpose to help build up God's people to maturity in their calling as we seek with all our hearts for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the region.
