Volunteer Opportunities

Women's Health and Counseling Center, 71 Fourth St., Somerville, NJ is in need of Volunteer Advocates for its Sexual Assault Support Services program, which provides survivors of sexual assault with emotional support and referral services.  Bilingual Spanish volunteers are especially needed.  On-site training is provided.  For information about becoming a Volunteer Advocate, please call 908-526-2335, Ext. 130.

Women Aware, Inc. is currently seeking Court Advocate Volunteers to assist their legal advocates in Middlesex County Superior Family Court.  Volunteers will receive 40-hours of domestic violence training as well as on the job training with the legal advocates in the court system.  Bilingual Spanish a plus.  If interested, please call 732-937-9525.
