In cooperation with area food banks like the Community FoodBank of New Jersey, STAR 99.1 will be collecting food for struggling families throughout the Summer. You can “Be a Hero” by dropping off a grocery bag of non-perishable food at all our STAR 99.1 events and at select stops around the area. Canned Fish or Meat – Salmon, Tuna, Spam, Chicken
Boxed Meals – Pasta, Potatoes, Rice (No cellophane or plastic bags)
Canned Meals – Stews, Meaty soup, Chili, Mac & Cheese, etc.
Peanut Butter in plastic jars only
Canned Vegetables and fruit
100% Fruit Juice in plastic bottles or juice boxes
Water in plastic bottles
