No Performance Tax Letter

I rely on my local radio station, WAWZ STAR 99.1, and I want to see them continue to serve their listeners. That's why I am urging you to support H. Con. Res. 49, The Local Radio Freedom Act. I am fearful of the effect a performance tax could have on WAWZ STAR 99.1, and your support will allow a mutually beneficial relationship between local radio stations throughout this nation and record labels to continue. The system that's in place today is fair and equitable: free play for free promotion. This arrangement has helped the music and recording industry to grow and allows WAWZ STAR 99.1 to better serve their listeners.
